A. A. Yes they are! They are as follows:
1/2 Day Camp Session #1 ... June 13-16
1/2 Day Camp Session #2 ... June 17-20
Full Day Camp Session #3 ... June 21-25
Full Day Camp Session #4 ... June 28- July 2
Parent / Child Camp #5 ... July 11-13
Players Camp #6 ... July 26-30
2. How do I get in touch with a staff member after hours?
A. You MUST call the camp phone number at (650) 323-9342
and listen to the complete message. There will be a phone number available
for you to call should you need get in touch with your child in an
emergency. We do NOT allow the camper to use the contact number to
call out unless it is an emergency?
3. How much cash should my child keep with them?
A. We recommend that your child have $50 dollars
with them. We have a deal with a local pizza restaurant that allows
the kids to order pizzas each night and offer campus tours where we
will take the kids to Jamba Juice and bookstore. We also have a camp
store with drinks and snacks for sale. For your security, we do offer
the option of depositing your cash into the camp bank. All funds will
be returned to your child at checkout.
4. How do I receive my key deposit refund?
A. We will give your child your check upon checkout
and it is their responsibility to return it to you.
5. I submitted all forms with my registration, why and I receiving
another copy of the forms?
A. We process our confirmation in bulk on a daily
basis and place a copy of all forms with each confirmation. There
is no need to complete a second set of the forms unless something
has changed.
6. When is the balance of payment due?
A. The balance of payment is due in full by May 1,
2008.
7. How many kids to take?
A. We take 80 kids per session and have 8 instructors,
8 counselors, 2 head coaches, and 2 staff people on duty. All instructors,
counselors and 1 staff member stay in the dorms.
8. How many kids per room in the dorms?
A.The dorms are typical college dorms with room enough
for two kids. There are some unique times where we have to place 1
or 3 kids per room based on availability, requests and number of kids
registered.
9. Where is check in on the first day of camp?
A. Check in is in front of the dorm that we are staying
in that given week. Directions will send to you via the e-mail address
you provided when registering. Check in for week 1 will take place
at the Stanford Varsity Driving Range (Directions will also be sent
to you via the e-mail address you provided when registering).
10. Where is pick-up each day?
A. Pick-up will be each day at the Stanford Varsity
Driving Range each day for all sessions. Sessions 3,4,and 6 however,
will have pick-up on the final day ONLY at the Stanford Golf Course.
We charge a late fee of $15 for each 15 minutes that you are late
picking up your child. You are considered late if you are more than
15 minutes past the designated pick-up time.
11. Do you allow cell phones and computers?
A. We allow cell phone for emergency use only. Cell
phones MUST be kept in the dorms when we are on the driving range
or golf course. If a camper is seen using a cell phone during normal
camp hours, it will be confiscated and returned upon the end of camp.
We fully discourage campers bringing computers of any kind to the
camp, as there is no internet access in the dorms.
12. My child needs to take medication each day, how can be sure they
do?
A. You have the option of your child keeping the
medication themselves or checking it in with our head counselor. If
your child keeps it with themselves, then there is no way of us monitoring
them. If you leave the medication with our head counselor, we will
be sure that they take the proper medication at the proper time. Al
medication use MUST be written on the medical form
13. My child has is allergic to certain types of foods, how can I
be sure that they are not exposed to it in the dining halls?
A. All allergies MUST be listed on the medical form.
You child should be aware of their allergies and be willing to ask
the dining staff how things are prepared and with what ingredients.
Please let us know if your child will be carrying an Epi-pen with
them should they be exposed to certain allergies.
